MSU College Of Leadership
Core Classes
___________
In the MSU College of Leadership there are 7 main classes that run throughout the year and these make up the core of our foundational teaching in the first year of the program. All students in the MSU College of Leadership will be required to attend these core classes.

Current Events and Biblical Worldview by Rick Joyner
Every leader must understand the events going on in the world around them and what they are to believe as God’s people who are called to be the salt and light of the earth. This course is designed to help students connect these current events with biblical prophecy and a solid biblical worldview. These classes aim to help the students understand God’s unfolding plan for this world and our role as the next and maybe one of the last generations.

Seven Spirits of God by Chris Reed
What’s the importance of the Seven Spirits of God? What does the word of God teach on the subject? Learn the answers to those questions and more from Chris Reed, the Acting President of MorningStar Ministries.

Deep Foundations by Justin Perry
All leaders must have a strong foundation in understanding the essential tenets and principles of the Christian faith. One of the mottos of the Moravian Church is “In the essentials unity, in the non-essentials liberty, in all things charity.” The question, of course, is what are the essentials of the faith. This course will address these essential doctrines of the faith and establish within the students a deep understanding of each one from a Biblical perspective.

Biblical Leadership by Tom Hardiman
These classes focus on leaders from the Bible and the lessons we can learn from their lives relating to our preparation for leadership. We will look at their early lives and development through their calling and ministry. This will allow the students to understand that leadership and destiny is a process. This course will also include topics like the requirements for elders as described in Titus and Timothy, as well as a study of the good shepherds versus the bad shepherds as outlined in Ezekiel 34.

Prophetic Training by MaryAnne Hardiman

Kingdom Finance by Ginese Wilmot
This course introduces students to the importance of developing a business plan and strategies for the marketplace and the church. Students will develop a theology of business and explore ways to apply it within a secular marketplace. Students will also gain introductory insights into business ownership and investing. This course includes practical applications in personal finance and kingdom business principles.

Supernatural Ministry Training by Various Teachers
This course provides rigorous theoretical and practical training in evangelism, prophecy, and healing. Combining classroom instruction with a series of hands-on faith challenges, students are pushed beyond their comfort zone and learn to minister in spiritual gifts and share the gospel in various settings.
While learning to be influential leaders, the MSU students will be doing hands-on ministry training.
First year MSU students will be trained in supernatural and practical aspects of ministry in various departments of MorningStar Fellowship Church.
